Bifocals Monthly Meeting Series
When and where
Bifocals meetings are free-of-charge and open to all theatre lovers aged 55 or older. No RSVP required. They are held monthly Sept through May (excluding Dec) on the 4th Friday at 11 a.m. in the lobby of Barksdale Theatre at Willow Lawn. Directions to Willow Lawn
Lunch
Each meeting is followed by a lunch buffet of sliced turkey, ham, roast beef, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, breads, salads, sweets, coffee, tea and sodas. A free-will offering of $5 for lunch is suggested.

Nuns, Nazis and Lederhosen
WW2 Era Costumes from the Barksdale / Theatre IV Collection Director of Costumes Sue Griffin has scoured our costume closet for liturgical, WWII era, and Bavarian gowns and garments from productions past. Once again, her guided tour through fashion history will set the stage for the feel and forms of our great spring and summer musical, The Sound of Music.
Bifocals Performances 2009 - 2010
Barksdale's Bifocals Theatre Project for Seniors offers performances starring actors aged 55 and older. All ages are welcome to attend performances.
Barksdale's "Bifocals Players" produce shows starring actors age 55 and older. In addition to visiting senior citizen communities, they present two performances at Willow Lawn Barksdale on the upstairs lobby stage. These are open to everyone.
