Full Plate Collection
In partnership with Barksdale Theatre
Come join some of Richmond’s fabulous females in this World Premiere production of Full Plate Collection, by Irene Ziegler.

Full Plate Collection is a collaborative new American Play, created specifically for the Virginia’s 2010 celebration of Women in the Arts. Full Plate Collection, a play with music, is a comic exploration of our cultural female icons. The title refers to a collection of five painted plates available for purchase from a TV shopping network. But these plates are irregulars, and the icons adorning them are similarly skewed. In the play, Betsy Crockpot, Auntie J.J., Boopsie Bleep, Rosemary the Riveter, and Babs, the Living Doll come to life and illuminate the female experience past and present. This productions features some of Richmond’s top talent and introduces bright young students to the stage!
