Stretchin' is an evening of spontaneity. National and local talent take the Cabaret lobby stage at Barksdale at Willow Lawn and try out new material or jam with folks they don't typically play with. Devon Sproule, Matt Curreri & Ray Suen of The Killers ~ $10

Devon will still kickoff her plugged in tour dueting with Left coast rocker Matt Curreri and Ray Suen of The Killers and The Exfriends! Mixing both Sproule & Exfriends originals with some jangly rock guitar classics, this show will definitly be one of the highlights of the year! YOU WILL WANT TO GET THERE EARLY!!! We nearly reached capacity last year and once again, this is the reason this series was created. To give you guys unique shows you can't see anywhere else - and it doesn't get better this!

April 19, 2009 ~susan greenbaum presents a tribute to The Carpenters~ $10

 

Another exclusive for Stretchin' as Susan takes a crack at this legendary duo who left their mark in american music. We are privileged that susan suggested this for the series and showing our gratitude may be tough but, "we've only just begun". Sorry just trying to get "close to you".

 

 

May 3, 2009 ~barnabus jones reunion~ kevin beale, jeff dowd, bj kocen~ $5 -- or $12 to also get the cd (save 3 dollars)

 

In celebration of the release of "the late great barnabus jones" the band recorded 10 tunes mostly from the early days of rocking out at the ashland coffee and tea. The trio will step out once again the first time in over ten years to dust off the old favorites as well as some new tunes.

 

 

June 7, 2009 ~ THE BIG JAM!! ~$10

 

We always close the series with putting on as many folks on the stage as we possibly can!  Last years was amazing; a tribute to the traveling wilburys! Who knows what we'll cook up this year! Expect some of the usual suspects and maybe some surprise guests as we blow out the final show of the season.
